I want know, if it's good idea to make building husk. What do you think about this ? My idea: Every building has own husk. When building has no more lifepoints, then explode and create husk. Yeah, SHP Builder isn't compatible with RA1/TD shp files. You can view/edited them, but not save in RA1/TD shp :( .

Ofcourse, research could open new ways in modding. I remember tricky research in RA2, you build normal building, which has size 0x0 and no image and it allow to build new units. So you place imaginary building on map... another usage of this "research" was superweapons or heal weapon with range 999,...

I using XCC mixer for converting png(s) to shp. I'm never tried it with OpenRA Utility, but thanks for your guide. If you use XCC mixer, you don't need set transparency to *.png. Just with Paint add pure black(0,0,0) color.
