Try updating your drivers, if that doesn't work it means your video card doesn't support OpenGL properly and won't be able to run the game (until someone writes an SDL renderer)

Make sure the game is complaining about Tao.Freetype blabla crashing though, you might have a different crash.
EDIT: Some other people tested it just now, and it doesn't work.

You need to have a video card that supports Shader Model 2.0. If you have Compiz running you'll need to disable it.
