Love this design. Has aspects that made Red Alert appeal to me, that gritty old-school almost gloomy picture. Just in my opinion the font used for OpenRA and "free and open source" seem out of place. Maybe something closer to the original box fontsquirrel wrote: ↑What about something like this

Well the staff should look into integrating the forums onto openra.net or use a proper link so members can join the forum. It is impossible to find and when you do, its hard to tell if it is legit sincethe only postable forums are at the bottom of a misnamed website. Literally shooting yourself in t...

It's a cheap way to expand to an ore patch you might want to put a second ref down at, avocado for example, its hard to get a perfect second ref placement unless you build another PP to expand the build radius. Regarding Grens, i use them all the time, i often dont see much difference when putting t...

Im more on the fence about the harvester nerf. You are right but at the same time the enemy still deservers the harvesters they get, it will also make harvester killing a very big thing since it will be harder to get more out. The real problem is the exponential potential of TD. A big building time ...

Recon Bikes. Decrease rocket range by 1? (Still unsure about this one.) Im on the fence about this but things to consider is you will never use it as AA and they will be vulnerable when vsing tanks. Harvestor price increase to 1200. Refineries price increase to 1700. I can see Norman rolling in his...

we even had the idea of a InGame Encyclopedia .. https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/issues/3788 theres a bounty on it ... so you could basicly get 30$ for doing it ^^ I'd be willing to do an InGame Encyclopedia but that issue would include implementing it into the game. And the scope of that issue se...

Re: Creating a marketingplan for OpenRA
Persistent stat tracking and carrots permanently alters the chemistry of the online playing community, which makes or breaks many an online multiplayer game. From Command & Conquer: Generals to Battlefield 2 to Dawn of War to Team Fortress 2. Nothing can forgive the introduction or facilitation of ...

You really should stop getting offended by people you don't know on the internet. Being offended is a completely useless and self-involved emotion. Adolf Hitler was a prominent world leader and censoring his name is just censorship so you can feel slightly less uncomfortable about something that isn...

I'm actually looking forward to that Enigma mod, looking very nice. Also I imagine you would be putting OpenRA as free on steam, meaning that you don't make any profit from people downloading it means that you satisfy a non-commercial part on steam. However I dont think that license agreement you co...
