As far as i'm concerned, i learn the game the way it is. As long as people propose playtesting changes, i might as well suggest the ones wich make sense to me. I don't suggest a change because i don't handle the way it is, but because the curent way feels dumb (even if i can exploit it or be annoyed...

the psychological effect of not being able to see even the groud helps a lot, it let your brain imagining an awfaull and overpowered army hidden in that dark attacking you. We fear what we can't see !

I'll ask soscared if it can be implemented in the playtest.

the effect on base push would be too limited compare to the fact to be annoyed to not have enought radius to build your own base.
