Backing what others said... Team games are kinda lame i've found. I only play them when i'm looking to chill. And i've noticed all the team maps being played are centre ore based making really bland predictable games. However i've only witnessed bad words twice, that's cause i said i was a noob and ...

Hadn't noticed myself that SAMs were not as good, even being primarily a Soviet player. But that may be due to Flakks being good enough.

Still, AA gun would be welcomed :)

Apologies if you knew already, but minelayers work on auto mode if you use ctrl and left click, rearming on auto also. SoScared has raised concern about them being largely meta changing with the next release, in the sense of they may break it entirely. Or maybe not. https://github.com/OpenRA/OpenRA/...

Thats a measure of player creativity not skill...... Imo this would apply moreso in the lower levels of players. The better/top players i think would be able to counter any tactics that suit a particular map due to their skill of accessing battles. Also i think any little tricks on a map would be d...

Nice read, thanks for the post. I had wondered about the original concept as it's been a while. Followed other mods before and the amount of hobby hours various people put in is truly dedicated and cool.

The change in menus/ UIs are pretty cool.

Would of liked seeing some of your other work, or maybe have if it's in game already!

Not voted.

Was the arty changed in a previous release?
I had thought the V2 range was shorter than the arty?

And where are release notes to be found?
Seems openra info is scattered over so many places

(Edit)

Found it. October 2016

A community effort to replace the original missions with new ones that are close to the original in the sense of the story, utilising the OG fmvs would be cool. It would also embrace the ORA engine. But dunno how and the possibility of it, just mentioning it as i've seen it in other games. The OG fe...

If the tab edit comes it may shift the meta slightly, so discussing tech changes is a difficult subject. If tanks were changed, shifting rockies aside slightly, heavier aircraft may see more play. Not suggesting a change there just showing what consequently happens. I voted new unit as i'd love a ne...

Welcome from another noob here ;) I found ORA has quite a progressive learning curve, i've been picking up steam quite rapidly now i've had many games, so stick with it as the 1vs1 games are quite hard to begin with but it pays off when you learn from your mistakes. Hopefully see you on the battlefi...

Oh man, a database of the different units and their pros/negs/armour etc would be great.

I literally cannot see the unit descriptions in game with my setup atm :D

The videos about how to use the lobby and UI would be great. Having been playing for a few weeks now i can say that would of been superb for when i started. I only found out last night after someone pointed out i kept hosting games instead of using the server to host. At least i think that's what wa...

If you/anyone catches me on Openra i'll happily come play TD. The lack of players is the only reason for not hanging out in the lobby for me
