The only solution I can see is the Iroquois gunship thing though id prefers it to be a Cobra if we went down that route :D. Avalach has some good ideas to actually removing the hind as the name. This is the latest and possibly largest effort undertaken to rectify this situation. https://github.com/...

Giving destroyers 3 sea mines that can't by refilled could be a fun idea too but that doesn't fix the current issues. :P Tbh the subs could do with the mines. Like people have said, subs are kind of useless against destroyers because of the easy to dodge torpedo. Adding mines to subs or a mining sh...

Nah you iron curtain the transport and drop the nuke truck in their base and you end up keeping the transport because...

This is actually so good. Especially with iron curtain, like you mentioned. It effectively iron curtains the nuke truck on certain naval maps

Something that is often forgotten or not mentioned when I see players discussing naval is that a spy can obtain sonar pulse for the Allied player if the subpen is placed next to the shore.

Would have been a nice addition to Blackened's naval story :p

There's a credits page in the game under the extras part that lists a lot of the main people who have contributed to this project.

Kick/bans could also ban an account rather than an IP which can be easily switched. From what I've gathered accounts will never be required to play OpenRA, so potentially the account system will not 100% deal with this problem. The onus is on server operators to ban 'disruptive' players, as is the ...

people do this for fun, and I'm not sure everyone will enjoy jumping into 1v1 games with probably much more experienced players. Fun is subjective. While some might not find it fun to be beaten by better players, others players might not find it fun to be bad at the game they are putting hours into.

Global Chat GONE :( :(((((((((((((((( Agreed. Ranked non fighting units is rather funny part of the game. Always brings a laugh in team games. At least they can still pick up crates. I am curious though. I presume crates are decide whats in them when a unit rolls over them not when they enter map. ...

That move is what RA is all about. Pretty sure it was possible in the originals too. This kind of thing can only be done in 2v2+ unless there is an MCV capture and each MAD tank takes 48 seconds to build so thats 4 minutes to build 5.

Its kind of easy to counter if everyone is late game.

Finding it interesting that after so much pushback against additional option checkboxes for the last few releases, the devs have gone the nuclear option and implemented some of the most contentious ones! I've never really seen this as a bad thing. Id even like the options being the same cross mod. ...
