Re: [Mod][WIP]Yuri's Revenge mod for OpenRA

So awesome that you and other people are working on these mods. A modern version of RA2 YR with tweak likes Fog of War and balance like they have done with the "Red Alert" mod would be so awesome!

Re: Grenadiers

All hail RNGsus. Praise thy LORD that we MAY have the strength to NOT EXPLODE!

They make for cool rushes in RA mod. After that, almost useless.

Re: Beginners questions

Didn't think about the teammate ore dump, good to know!

If they ever make engineer capture husks, it would be cool to be able to give a teammate a MCV if they lack the means to replace their last one, with no Service Depot or War Factory.

Re: Using of software programmable macros in competitive games

There should be a modifier to "Put this unit to front of que" I think.

Re: Using of software programmable macros in competitive games

Yeah I mean maybe a spy rarely to gain start rank or a mechanic to pick up a husk but I agree with SirCake.

But I also agree its a bit of a hassle to "add a unit" into production when you are already que'd up and micro'ing battles and building production.

Re: Send me your replays and I'll cast them!

I think you'll love this game. More iterations to the map, I've made separate layouts but the game on this with the central tesla version is quite open and shows spaces for comebacks. Frustrating not to see some chances be taken but a fun game nonetheless. It's a playtest game so it won't let me sh...

Re: Mod: C&C: Combined Arms

I spent most of my time on RA2 playing online but yeah "cheating" AI can definitely be challenging.

Re: Mod: C&C: Combined Arms

Yeah there are a lot of team games too, but i just don't think it wise or even possible to build an AI that is competitive without using an advanced actual AI bot like what they are testing with DOTA.

Re: Using of software programmable macros in competitive games

This may be slightly off topic but related to queing..... I really think there should be a "un-que all in tab" button for when you need to quickly change your build. Honestly macros don't bother me. It's like using a speed loader in a shotgun competition. As long as everyone can use it it's fair. I...

IIRC you can reset production queues with Shift+Middle Mouse Button? Shift+Middle resets 5 in a stack, Ctrl+Middle resets the whole s...

Re: RAGL Season 5 Post Season Discussion

I think a higher prize pool will reduce the drop out issue. I'm down to contribute $200. Maybe masters could have a non-refundable buy in? Something easy like $20.

Who do I PM to help increase the prize pool for next RAGL? I'd imagine y'all use PayPal? A Standings update on the forum would be appreciated, or is it already here?
