Re: Red Alert Global League: Season 6 - Scoreboards and Fixtures
There was a balance issue regarding the starting ore being unevenly available for left and right spawns, the situation required a swift resolution because the season is ongoing. Thus, I've took it upon myself to test and implement the changes. My point is not that the map is perfect as is but it's ...

Re: Red Alert Global League: Season 6 - Scoreboards and Fixtures
Why are you modifying my map to be used in RAGL without discussing the needed/wanted changes with me?

Re: RAGL Frontline Reports :: S06.1
Nice update, thanks! I've been watching some games and I'm pretty excited about the league. > Regarding the matches of those who do show up, one can select Bain/Zaqzorn and mechANIC/Odourless pairs as potential top-table derbies. We surely wait for these games to happen but come on, it's an OpenRA t...

Re: A Special Announcement from EA
From the remaster I want: 1. HD graphics that looks more realistic rather than cartoony. Lessen the amount of funkiness and add more realism *with* funkiness. 2. Classic skirmish 3. Co-op campaign 4. Rebalanced factions (RA1 has terrible balance). This includes air units, naval units, and less for g...

Re: Mechanics, engineers and scrapping and restoring husks
I agree with Sleipnir on all fronts. I do believe that mechanic's ability to capture husks is extremely powerful to be possessed only by one faction. Soviet's counter is the Hijacker, but as everyone knows, it's broken. Just to demonstrate how powerful the Mechanic is, imagine this common scenario. ...

Nice work, fellow mapmakers! Congratulations to other winners!
Unfortunately, I cannot claim my prize because PayPal doesn't allow receiving funds for Ukraine residents. There's simply no way for me to do it. Therefore, I'd like to donate $20 for RAGL and $25 for the next Map Design Contest.

Re: Using of software programmable macros in competitive games
Thanks for the explanation, @WhoCares. I do feel like these scripts can have detrimental effects on the gameplay although I recognise your courage in experimenting. I think the build scripts are especially powerful because consistent builds is an art to be mastered. Sometimes you just build a wrong ...

Re: Using of software programmable macros in competitive games
I feel like I am a little out of the loop here. Could somebody summarise what macros achieve, exactly? I see some people mention that some macros are more harmful than other. Could we have a list of all of these macros and their impact? Are they possible only if you own a mouse with a lot of buttons...

Re: RAGL Season 5 Post Season Discussion
I have a few things to discuss about RAGL. Viewer's POV: 1. Separate website is inconvenient. * the new site can sometimes be down completely or just slow * it looks abandoned (updates are super rare), and it seems like nobody develops it anymore * it does not offer anything new. The old style (foru...

Re: Introducing : MapTools
Nice work! The mirror functionality sounds especially useful. Mirroring by hand is very hard and error prone. It was always the most tedious and boring part of mapmaking for me, so if your tool can at least roughly mirror maps, that's already a huge win.

I have a new and last batch of maps (updated the original post with screenshots and links): Bridgetown (1v1, 80x60) needs playtesting Further experiments with 1v1 navy. The island in the middle has gems (connectable by 2 bridges). The idea is that players should fight for it. Megaton Dawn (1v1, 70x7...
