you guys are over thinking it all you need to do is once the ai is made have it battle it's self with one human player so like 7 ai and one human that way it learns. you need to have siad human player have more then one tactic or it will fail.

the only problem with that is the buildings explode i do not know how to make them stay as of yet and translating the old ra code is hard since i have no idea what dose what for the other things.

true but for maps like the hills have eyes more needs to be done. it has a civ force called badguy witch died apon map start witch had triggers and stuff to i guess make them move and to top it all off the badguys are redalert AI lvl 2.

you have i think 5 maps that come from the BASE RA nothing from the expansions. 230 maps for openra

this is all the maps from redalert+all expansions so thats a wapping 230 maps. i also included the ptk files for thos who want to rename the maps. the thing is each multiplayer map had 2 names so if we take A path beyond the in-game name is A path beyond (lg) but the map file it self calls it Path B...

i know that but was just seeing. in anycase no maps in the base game directory aka generals.mix is an mpr file they are ini files. Edit: is there anyway to do a batch conversion as thats going to be over 130 maps even with all the maps that are already present in openra that are from ra proper. edit...

that i did not know as it seemed that there was only 2 maps from the base game in there but dose the converter work for the MPR files that the official map editor uses?

in anycase i will try to find all the mp maps and convert them. this includes both expansions.
