Sometimes the colors make it a bit difficult to read, same with the centred text, but the content is very nice.

I would If not that, I'd recommend at the very least making all masters players play as 'any'. This is something I can get down with. Me too. I think forcing players to stick to one faction limits strategy needlessly. Either let players pick their faction each time, or force them to play random.

For me the timers and the global laugh are part of Red Alert. I think there is no point in discussing whether they are good or bad, they are just part of the game.
