Let me rephrase : I'm 99.99% sure that they will not allow usage of their assets in commercial projects (except if you pay them a shatload of money, and even then...)

If you plan to use their assets commercially, prepare for EA's wrath.

IE: Dont use it for anything thats 'not open' and don't try to sell anything including their assets + even that won't guarantee anything as long as you don't sign a contract with EA.

What suggestions do you have for the sniper? slower 'fire rate' or ?

Also, do you mean I should increase the range + dmg for the defense buildings or lower them (isnt that clear :p)

Now that OpenRA has a new release out, I'm releasing my OpenRg mod. I'd love it too, but try to keep it 'optional' (the effect) so that ppl can turn it off incase its 'too heavy' for their pc (remember I'm on a netbook :p)

Again, look at my other replies. Anyhow, who told you they are gone? You ARE aware that OpenRA _IS NOT_ the real RA / CNC? The only thing they use from the original game, are the assets and the basic logic. Most times it means they didn't add it _YET_ Now, start behaving as an adult, if you're not, ...
